This little girl was so ready for her party.
She had a calendar where she marked the days off everyday, until it was finally here....
Her party was on the 28th of March...
She was SO happy that her friends were coming over.
It happens to have been during spring break (NOT on purpose) so several people couldn't come...but we still ended up with 5 little girls...2 older boys who kind of did their own thing...and one little boy. It just ended up being perfect!
There were ladybugs, that I made, all over the house...
Streamers, balloons, more ladybugs....

On the right in this picture is my favorite decoration...a banner that I made....I love it so much it is still up. :)

And the pictures were chronological from birth to today...mixed in were each birthday that she has had so far, blowing out her candles (like the "Y" above)

The other side is designed, exactly the same but for a boy....so it can be used for all three kids birthdays.

Here is the necklace making table! The kids spent a longtime working hard on these...
but really, they just wanted to play.
They did playdoh, and dressed up, and played kitchen....it was cute to watch them all play together outside of school.
As classic for the age, no one really plays TOGETHER...they just play the same thing, right next to each other....
Then we did presents...
There were snacks out....in our pinkish ladybug theme....
And of course....the best part.....TIME FOR CAKE

You just fill these the night before or the morning of, or whatever...then you can give each person a cup, or just pop them out of the cups onto the plate.....soooooo easy!

I got a lot of cleaning and crafting done that I have been wanting to do, but just kept putting off...
Amazing how impending dates help you meet goals so much faster....
I hope Makylie remembers what a great day it was for her.
She was so proud and just on top of the world!
