A Sleepover...

So, suddenly, we are really into doing sleepovers together.

It is so cute...the kids get so excited.

They beg, and promise they won't talk...(yeah, umm, right)

Then they decide which room they will sleep in, and they set up camp.

They get all of their blankies and stuffed animals, and lovies!

Then it is bedtime...

And the talking...

Singing...

And giggling begins!

We stomp back to their rooms, at least 7 times...telling them to go to sleep...and quit talking...

All the while, we sit together on the couch with perpetual smiles on our faces, and tears in our eyes, talking about these little people.

Like, real little people.

I truly think it still confounds us that they are growing everyday.

Developing into people, with real feelings and complex thoughts.

We feel incredibly fortunate that they love each other so much.

And they do.

Really, A LOT.

So.....Every single time, we have one of these "sleepovers", they end up going one of two ways....

About our eighth time of going back to the room...we either separate them into their own rooms, where they fall asleep in minutes....

Or...

Then we stand there.

Starring.

In the presence of everyday miracles.
